Community EngagementStudents in Wesley Club often participate locally in community service projects, as well globally on mission trips and national student gatherings. Some of our regular service activities are listed below. In addition, we are launching an exciting, new student housing community in Fall 2009, made up of people interested in exploring connections between spirituality and social justice. Teen FeedEach Tuesday, University Temple hosts Teen Feed, which is a program run by University Street Ministry out of Crowther Hall. Twice a quarter, Wesley Club students help prepare a meal for the teens, which is a great opportunity to learn about the program. If you are interested in finding out more information, visit their website or contact Eric. Youth and Young Adult ShelterSome members of Wesley Club have been voluteering at the shelter for youth, which is located in Crowther Hall below the U. Temple UMC sanctuary. Volunteers divide shifts to supervise the youth throughout the night. They help clean up and serve breakfast. Please e-mail them if you're interested.
